- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a raised spot on my head and went in for a check up. The PA said it was not cancer and was not due to sun damage. She froze the growth off. Several months later I came back and they tested it and said it was cancerous. The referred my to a surgery center to have removed. The doctor who removed the growth said in addition, just looking at my head she could see significant sun damage and recommended that i go back to Southlake Dermatology because they could treat it with cream. When Southlake Dermatology called me I told them that they missed my diagnosis and that I did not want to meet with a PA. They said they would have a Doctor call which they never did. I would not recommend anyone to go to Southlake Dermatology.January 26, 2017by Brian Reed
